Car Accident Claim Company

For people involved in light or minor road accidents, the car accident insurance is a way to get compensated for the losses. A road accident can be a hazardous thing, although many accidents are entirely preventable by taking simple prevention advice. However, the accident could just as easily occur because of another driver’s negligence, even when you respect all the common sense rules of driving.

That’s when you probably feel the need to get compensated. Remember, the car accident compensation is for minor injuries, because for the more severe types of accidents you will need a lawyer to represent you. Here are some things you need to do after an accident to maximize your compensation claim effort.

How to Make a successfull Car Claim

You can make a claim following an accident if the other driver was fully or partially responsible. You can claim for the following:

  • Repairs to your vehicle
  • Your Insurance Policy excess
  • Loss of earnings
  • Damage to your property
  • Transport costs, such as taxi fares, or the reasonable cost of hiring a vehicle
  • Personal injury

After a car accident, if you have made a claim with the negligent driver’s claims company for either property damage to your vehicle, bodily injury, or both, at some point, after providing the adjuster with all of the requested documentation, you will need to negotiate a settlement of your claim. Often, the adjuster will be the one to make the first move and offer you a settlement amount. If you have a definite opinion on the value of your claim, however, you don’t have to wait for his or her offer.

Your solicitor would first write to your opponent holding them responsible for your injuries, stating why they hold your opponent responsible, and summarising your injuries and expenses. Your opponent or their Claim company must acknowledge receipt of that letter within 21 days.

Your solicitor and your opponent's insurer will usually attempt to agree upon a choice of medical experts to examine you and prepare a report detailing your injuries, the treatment that you have received and your prognosis.
